NEC has unveiled Univerge Blue Connect Bridge, an all-in-one UCaaS offering that that extends NEC’s on-premises business phone systems to the cloud and affords customers the flexibility to communicate and collaborate from anywhere.
“Connect Bridge demonstrates NEC’s commitment to channel partners and customers to protect their investments, maximize the potential of their installations, and boost employee mobility and flexibility required by today’s hybrid world,” said Marc Hebner, VP of Enterprise Division.
This solution will be available to EMEA clients from Q1 2022.
The solution was developed alongside Intermedia, which NEC has extended its partnership with from five to 10 years. NEC has also committed to purchase $40 million of Intermedia common stock concurrently with, and conditioned upon, the closing of Intermedia’s planned IPO.
