Timico rebrand signals cloud-first pivot

Horizon Capital-backed Timico has marked its transition to a cloud-first managed service provider by rebranding as Digital Space.

The process was kickstarted in 2020 when the company acquired AWS specialist Arcus Cloud Services and in April 2021, when Andrew Vize was appointed Strategy and Marketing Director with a remit to drive a full cloud-first transition.

Vize said at the time: “Timico is making significant investments and strategic changes to become a cloud-first managed services company.”

CEO Neil Muller has subsequently laid out the organisation’s new raison d'etre, focused on delivering profound cloud-led transformation.

He said: “The world as we once knew it has changed. Whilst we as a society have changed how we communicate and what we value most, the world of business has changed too. Fundamental to this is the acceleration of technology, and more specifically, the centralisation and widespread adoption of Connectivity and IT services in the cloud.”
