The on-premise PBX is not dead yet based on the latest results from NEC Enterprise Solutions.
The ICT giant says it has signed up 50 new resellers in the UK already this year, including Coventry-based HBT Communications which has adopted both NEC’s SL2100 small business PBX and SV9100 communications platform for SMBs.
“The demand for IP/VoIP technology and homeworking capabilities the NEC portfolio provides are very strong in the marketplace. We will also be investigating the UNIVERGE BLUE cloud solution going forwards,” said MD Ajmal Hussain.
