Truespeed carves out niche in the south west

ISP Truespeed is growing its presence in the South West by connecting communities it claims have been left behind by national broadband providers.

Starting its full-fibre network rollout in Bath, Truespeed is moving into Somerset towns such as Keynsham, Saltford and South Widdicombe, aiming to connect 500,000 properties by 2025.

Evan Wienburg, CEO of Truespeed, said: “We’re lighting up our map of the South West and bringing under-served households and businesses the future-proofed gigabit capable connectivity they deserve.”

The Bath-based ISP is offering free ultrafast broadband for life to primary schools and community hubs passed by its network.

Wera Hobhouse, MP for Bath added: “It’s great that a Bath-based firm is at the forefront of supporting our communities and taking our beautiful city into the full fibre fast lane.”
