FluidOne acquires Cyber Security Associates

Livingbridge-backed FluidOne has bolted on a 24/7 Security Operations Centre in Gloucester following the acquisition of Cyber Security Associates (CSA).

The deal is the next step in FluidOne's buy and build strategy and follows the acquisition of PSU last November which added IT managed services and UC to its portfolio.

CSA was established in 2013 and has completed projects for the Ministry of Defence, The Foreign and Commonwealth Office and private clients including the Bank of England.

FluidOne CEO Russell Horton said: “I saw an opportunity to add a cyber security specialist to the group as a sister company to benefit customers and channel partners.”

CSA MD David Woodfine added: “We were seeking a strategic partner to invest in the business and support us in the next stage of our growth.

“Meeting the executive team at FluidOne I could see a fit for our cyber security services in their Connected Cloud Solutions strategy.”

Founder James Griffiths and Woodfine remain in post.
