Harman’s Strive Capital on the hunt for acquisitions

Investment firm Strive Capital is looking for new acquisition opportunities to realise its ‘aggressive’ growth strategy.

Strive Capital is co-founded by Joe Kelly and Andrew Harman (pictured), the former founder of technology service business Annodata.

The company is looking to add positions in IT services, cyber security, telecoms and managed print businesses seeking both monetary and advisory support.

Harman said: “We are passionate about technology, as well as creating new jobs and opportunities for individuals – particularly at this challenging time – and therefore we are seeking majority or significant minority positions in IT services, cyber security, telecoms and managed print businesses.

"The financial muscle behind us means we have the ability to move rapidly when we spot the right opportunities.”

This growth strategy outline comes after Strive’s announcement of its share acquisition of education-specialist Apple reseller Academia. The investment company has landed a 75% stake.

Talking about the acquisition, Harman said: “Having acquired a major shareholding in the company, we see huge potential to significantly enhance Academia’s managed service offering into complementary product lines and markets.”
