Cohesity's swoop on former Commvault Distribution and Channel Lead for EMEA Martin Gibbons delivers a significant boost to its data management knowhow, according to CEO Dirk Marichal, EMEA VP for Sales.
"Given that Martin possesses deep knowledge of the data management sector, I expect he will have an immediate positive impact on our business," stated Marichal.
Gibbons brings 20-plus years experience in channel, IT and data management. His influence will also be strongly felt in driving Cohesity’s expanded partner programme.
Gibbons commented: “In EMEA, customers across a host of verticals are looking for software defined solutions that make it easy to back-up, manage and extract value from data."
