Midwich launches CSR programme

Pan-European AV distributor Midwich has launched a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme for its headquarters at Diss, Norfolk, which employs over 250 people.

The internal CSR team, consisting of eight staff members from across the business, covers four key areas and initiatives – people, environment, community and charity.

Throughout 2019-20 Midwich says it is giving employees the opportunity to volunteer their time during working hours to take part in worthwhile community initiatives.

By December 2019, Midwich will be eradicating the use of non-recyclable drinking cups at its HQ, and in 2019-20 the firm is committed to ensure marketing material is 100% recyclable, while at the same time reducing the number of printed literature distributed to stakeholders.

Throughout 2019/20, Midwich will also be supporting local worthwhile community projects, as voted for by employees.

Midwich’s employees and its in-house charity committee are committed to raising between £40,000 to £50,000 for mental health charity Mind.
