Treat customers as allies, says MSP conference 

Little differentiation between today's products and services and the rise of public cloud mass-market providers could tempt MSPs to try and be 'all things to all men' on a shoestring. 

With their resources over-stretched they risk a race to the bottom and waning standards will be another inevitable outcome, according to the key theme at this year's Managed Services & Hosting Summit hosted by Comms Dealer sister company IT Europa.

"Managed Services providers have to take some tough decisions in order to avoid being pulled in all directions," stated IT Europa Editor John Garratt. 

Takeaways from the event include a perspectives in how MSP alignment and engagement with customers is becoming key to survival.

“If you show clients your plan to grow together, they will see you as on their side,” stated Gartner's Research Director Mark Paine.
