Beckenham business Avita Tech and Westerham-based Systemax Communications have pooled resources and expertise and are now operating under the moniker Avita Group led by new MD Gary Duckman.
Avita brings particular knowhow in IT, AV, telecoms, electrical and digital imaging products and services, while Systemax's strengths lie in network infrastructure installation, telecoms, CCTV, access control and AV products and services.
"Both companies are complementary and support Avita Group's growth ambitions with an enhanced product and service proposition, and the resources to deliver end-to-end tailored technology solutions," said Duckman.
He also noted that the link-up will cause no disruption or change to the existing teams.
