Zest4 positioned as IoT MVNO following Arkessa deal

Having licensed Arkessa's Emport IoT platform Zest4 is offering IoT MVNO services alongside comms technology, targeting opportunities in the UC channel and existing IoT suppliers and solution developers across all verticals.

Zest4 acquired this capability to give partners access to multiple networks in the UK and globally.

Emport provides one management billing platform to manage the whole estate of SIMS irrespective of mobile network operator - and track SIM usage individually, by sub estates, or in entirety.

The platform also monitors data alerts, caps and SIM data allowance usage; produces data usage reports and organises estates through tags and categories.

The deal means Zest4 can offer an IoT tariff for any opportunity that a partner uncovers, with their usual pricing and commercial flexibility, according to Anton le Saux, Zest4's Head of IoT.

"Arkessa's Emport is a proven Enterprise MVNO platform which we can now leverage, customise and target at UC channel businesses," he said.

Philip McDermott, Arkessa's COO, added: "The Platform-as-a-Service solution gives Zest4 the freedom to pursue its channel-focussed approach to IoT."
