Union Street appoints Dempsey as brand ambassador

Billing solution provider Union Street has sharpened its focus on market positioning, its proposition, online engagement and other digital marketing activities following the appointment of former BPL Business Media Operations Director Stephanie Dempsey to the newly created role of Brand Manager.

With 15 years channel experience under her belt Dempsey aims to put Union Street in front of a wider audience, clarify key messages and further develop the company's online presence and vendor partnerships.

As Union Street's brand ambassador Dempsey will leverage knowledge gained during her tenure as Ops chief at BPL, the publisher of Comms Dealer and organiser of channel events Margin in Voice & Data, the Comms National Awards and Comms Vision.

"Stephanie's experience in events management and marketing to the channel community will be a huge asset to the business," stated Head of Sales and Marketing Vincent Disneur.

"We have ambitious plans for growth in 2018 and Stephanie's success in this position will be pivotal in turning these plans into reality."

Dempsey added: "A big part of my role will be developing Union Street's channels for online marketing, developing the perception of Union Street within the channel, and building partnerships with other vendors."
