Telesis snaps up Digital Telecom Airtime

Royal Bank of Scotland backed Bolton-business Telesis has acquired Manchester-based Digital Telecom Airtime, boosting turnover to over £9m and staff numbers to 52.

The company plans two more acquisitions this year and aims to generate £10m turnover.

Established in 2009 Telesis reported turnover of £5m in 2016 and targets businesses in the north west with a range of comms solutions including phone systems, calls and lines, mobile services, broadband, call recording, CCTV, VoIP, connectivity and engineering services.

Telesis Director Christian Bleakley said: "The acquisition of Digital Telecom Airtime forms a key part of our future growth plans.

"We will retain the Digital Telecom Airtime brand and staff working at the Radcliffe site who now become part of the Telesis group."

John Copping, Regional Head of the North and Scotland at the Royal Bank of Scotland Corporate Transactions team, added: "Telesis is well on track to meet its growth target of achieving £10m turnover and already looking for future acquisition targets."
