Representatives of SpliceCom's top ten performing UK channel partners converged on Valencia for the European Grand Prix.
Hosted by SpliceCom's Head of UK Sales, Graham Harris, the winning VARs took in the Practice Session on the street circuit, followed on the Sunday by the best seats in the house alongside the starting grid for the Grand Prix itself.
This turned out to be one of the most exciting and eventful races in recent memory and was eventually won by Ferrari's Fernando Alonso. Despite such a packed agenda, there was still time for the football fans in the group to visit Real Madrid's magnificent Santiago Bernabu Stadium, watch Spain's European Championship quarter final victory against France in the company of hundreds of noisy and enthusiastic locals, whilst consuming Tapas a plenty, and sink a few beers as well!
"Valencia was the perfect venue to thank our best performing partners for their efforts over what has been an unsettled economic period," said SpliceCom's Harris. "Like the best F1 teams, the new additions to our product portfolio will see our channel partners dominating more and more races this year."
"IP telephony and SIP are now widely accepted. The connectivity has become more affordable and businesses are moving key services to the cloud. We see a majority of new RFPs requesting hosted."
