South West Communications scores with Twickenham rugby pub

South West Communications Group has been asked to provide a new telephone system for The Cabbage Patch in Twickenham.

Recently purchased by brewer and pub operator Fuller, Smith & Turner, The Cabbage Patch is an institution among rugby fans visiting Twickenham Stadium. It has two bars, a saloon bar, a sports bar and a nightclub.

Fuller, Smith & Turner has been a customer of the Exeter-based telephone systems provider South West Communications Group for the last five years who has installed new telephone systems into Fuller, Smith & Turner's brewery in Chiswick and into 25 of its pubs.

South West Communications Group will be installing an Alcatel-Lucent OmniPCX Office telephone system at The Cabbage Patch to modernise its communications infrastructure.

South West Communications Group's MD Harry Langley said: "As a company that has its own involvement in rugby through the main and first team sponsorship of Exeter Chiefs, we are delighted to be involved with this project at The Cabbage Patch."
