Plantronics has completed its acquisition of Polycom creating a new force in the market for UC&C end points.
Joe Burton, Plantronics’ President and Chief Executive Officer, said: "As trends in enterprise communications move toward open work spaces and flexible work arrangements, the ecosystem of platforms and devices continues to expand.
"Plantronics now offers a portfolio of integrated solutions that spans headsets, software, desk phones, audio and video conferencing and cloud services."
Plantronics expects the acquisition to be immediately accretive to Non-GAAP earnings per share and believes it can achieve annual run-rate cost synergies of $75m within 12 months.
