Resellers have been putting themselves to the test - gaining a valuable insight into the latest product developments from , and becoming official accredited suppliers at the same time.
A Siemens Enterprise Communications Partner Enabling Day staged at Nimans' Manchester headquarters proved a ‘qualified success', attracting dealers from as far as Swansea and Cambridge.
Latest updates to the OpenScape Office MX, HX and LX system platforms were all on the agenda as part of the event that featured key personnel from the manufacturer and distributor.
Resellers had the chance to become an accredited SOCA (Siemens Open Communications Associate) by demonstrating their sales knowledge and expertise. This involved sitting an online test where successful candidates walked-away with an official certificate.
"It's been an excellent update, giving me the confidence and knowledge to clinch more sales," said one Leigh-based dealer. "The SOCA exam, from a credibility point of view, was a real bonus as it reinforced my increased understanding and general expertise."
Nimans, Head of System Sales, Paul Burn, says the initiative not only showcased the latest advanced UC technologies but also provided resellers with the opportunity to gain a competitive market advantage by completing the entry level SOCA exam.
