murphx is hailing its new ‘always on' bandwidth capacity broadband solution, x-connect, as a sea change in its approach to the connectivity market.
The company claims to have bridged the gap between standard broadband and expensive leased line solutions, using Cisco technology.
murphx Director Carl Churchill stated: "A lack of bandwidth means limited download and upload speeds, reduced productivity and poor performance of bandwidth-hungry applications such as VoIP, videoconferencing and Cloud solutions.
"With x-connect, we are utilising sophisticated and resilient connectivity options with easily installed, preconfigured customer equipment, complete connectivity and hardware management and maintenance."
According to Churchill, businesses have had the choice between risking lost productivity through lower bandwidth, or investing in an expensive leased line solution. "x-connect offers a third way which allows businesses to benefit from higher bandwidth and speed availability without the investment or maintenance costs," he added.
"We've invested a lot in this, because we know it's what the market needs. We've combined multiple carrier connections into a single resilient solution. We're not just offering greatly enhanced connectivity, but connectivity with a service level that our customers can depend on."

'If you are worried about laying off engineers, why not re-deploy them in sales while the installations side picks up? You often find that the best dealers are former engineers who have a broad knowledge of the industry, who customers trust to give them sound advice and a solution that works for them.'
