Juniper targets enterprise sector with push for new partners

Having sharpened its focus on the enterprise market Juniper Networks has embarked on a hunt for EMEA partners to target 'pinpointed high propensity verticals'.

Brian Rosenberg, Corporate VP of Partners & Relationships, confirmed that over 90% of Juniper enterprise sales were currently through the channel and that the vendor is now aiming to grow sales in sectors like financial services, higher education, gaming, government and media and entertainment.

"We already have partners who work in these sectors but we are looking for more," he stated.

Rosenberg believes that there are untapped opportunities in areas such as cloud integration, security, automation, the IoT and edge computing. And Juniper is leveraging distribution to achieve its aims having expanded its agreement with Nuvias which is now the company's main pan-European distributor.

Marcus Jewell, Juniper Networks SVP & General Manager for EMEA, aims to keep things simple for the channel.

He said: "We are moving away from conversations about architectures and protocols to talk about business solutions."
