InTrust Solutions has signed a Platinum and Lead distribution agreement with Trust Digital to launch new Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) Solutions for next generation Smartphone devices.
This agreement will provide a solution for UK & Ireland plus wider European enterprises looking to harness the power of the iPhone and other emerging Smartphone devices for corporate employee use.
InTrust is forming partnerships with both service providers and mobility based resellers to better serve the needs of the increasingly global mobile workforce.
Historically, enterprise Smartphone use has been limited to the BlackBerry, however, with the rapid growth and adoption of the iPhone and other non-BlackBerry Smartphones employees are bringing to work, companies need a solution that empowers CIOs to say 'yes' to these consumer devices by utilizing existing IT services for authentication, authorization and corporate directories.
"With three major UK operators offering the Apple iPhone it's use within the enterprise is expected to reach an all time high," said Steven Harris, Managing Director at InTrust.
"It's inevitable that consumers will be taking their iPhones to work. The enterprise mobility management market is poised for rapid growth and InTrust is looking to work closely with various partners to exploit this opportunity and deliver EMM solutions to innovative enterprise customers".
Nick Turner, vice president, resellers and service provider sales at Trust Digital, added: "The iPhone recently topped J.D. Power and Associates' list for wireless phone satisfaction among both consumers and business users which now places increased pressure on IT organisations to support this device."
Driving ahead with their joint UK strategy InTrust Solutions and Trust Digital have signed reseller agreements with Modern Communications, Synergy Technology and IT Security Experts (ITSE) to launch new Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) solutions to UK enterprises.
These agreements are the first phase of a focused campaign to work with innovative channel partners to offer enterprises a compelling solution to effectively manage Smartphone devices outside of the Blackberry product range.
"We have been working in the mobile reseller market for many years and we are delighted to be working with InTrust to bring this disruptive technology to the UK marketplace," said Jon Loftin, Sales Director at Modern Communications.
"We have had a great response from both partners such as Synergy Technology and end customers who are looking at ways to effectively manage their next generation Smartphone devices and the value proposition for enterprises is compelling."
Simon Earl, Technical Director at ITSE, said: "The EMM solution provides a real alternative to the Blackberry Enterprise Server and enables organisations to control and manage the myriad of mobile devices outside of the BES. With the wipe capabilities for iPhone and Windows Mobile Devices, IT Managers can be sure that any lost devices do not become a data breach."
