Intrinsic Technology has been awarded two star status in Best Companies Accreditation 2010 for the second year running.
Competition was fierce for accreditation with a record 1086 organisations entering this year, representing 270,000 employees from the private and public sectors. The scheme follows a ‘Michelin star' system with one star for ‘first class', two stars for ‘outstanding' and three stars for ‘extraordinary performance'. Only 17% of organisations achieved 3 or 2 star status in the rankings.
Allan Gauld, Chief Executive at Intrinsic Technology, said: "In spite of challenging times within the IT industry, we have remained focused on our strategy to build the business while striving to engage, motivate and reward our staff.
"Despite a worldwide recession we achieved growth in excess of 20% and this 2 star accreditation shows that we have retained a passionate, team-orientated and highly motivated workforce, who are in-turn, providing excellent levels of service to our customers."

'If you are worried about laying off engineers, why not re-deploy them in sales while the installations side picks up? You often find that the best dealers are former engineers who have a broad knowledge of the industry, who customers trust to give them sound advice and a solution that works for them.'
