Griffin Internet swoops on four key hires

In parallel with recent announcements about further network expansion, Griffin Internet has announced four new significant hires.

Bob Lowndes joins Griffin with over 20 years experience, most recently with BT Global Services, and heads up the Engineering Team. Affy Sagir joins from Opal with ten years experience in Operations.

In Product Development, Peter Young joins Griffin as a Senior Product Manager. He has over ten years experience with Thus and C&W and will be focusing on Griffin's new portfolio of hosted managed services.

Rich Smolenski joins the product management team from Plusnet and he will be concentrating on Griffin's DSL products.

UK PBX and IP PBX market Q3 2009 market report

The UK PBX and IP PBX market (including Micro PBX products) slumped 24 per cent in Q3 2009 compared to the same period in 2008 (reaching just under 567, 000 extensions), but despite this double digit decline, the percentage change on a sequential quarterly basis reveals a different picture, finds MZA in its latest quarterly report.
