Fluidata has partnered with Be Broadband, an ISP provider of ADSL2+ technology and part of Telefónica O2, to offer a new business wholesale service.
This exclusive partnership enables wholesalers to supply the ADSL2+ network from Be. Fluidata has designed and deployed the L2TP (layer 2 tunnel protocol) layer to aid wholesale delivery and provide a simple yet effective platform on which to order. As a result, wholesalers will now be able to quickly and easily integrate their existing systems, making the most of the Annex-M technology available at over 1,200 exchanges nationwide.
Overall, this partnership provides products and services for business customers, complementing the consumer focused services that Be currently offers. Further features include a UK support team, online ordering and checking and XML integration into wholesalers systems.
Tom Williams, Operations Director at Be, stated: "By partnering with Fluidata, Be is now able to offer a wholesale platform for the entire telecoms industry, particularly to carriers engaged in providing services to businesses. Since our products and services routinely outperform the competition, and offers speeds of up to 24 Mb/s down and 2.6 Mb/s upload, this venture means that Be can provide a true alternative to larger competitors."
Piers Daniell, Managing Director of Fluidata, added: "This partnership allows both Fluidata and Be to provide a fully automated business wholesale service, enabling wholesalers to maximise the Annex-M technology with full support of Cisco's hardware, which some other carriers are struggling to support. In addition, since the service is simple in design, companies taking the product wholesale now have a great opportunity to put their stamp on it."
