FarrPoint set to build on gains in northern England

Edinburgh-based consultancy FarrPoint is capitalising on demand for independent advice on technology investment, procurement and deployment with a new office in Manchester to serve the north of England.

The company opened an office in London last year and forecasts a 50% hike in turnover and boosted its headcount to 15, including two consultants based in Manchester and Newcastle.

Dr Andrew Muir, co-founder and Director of FarrPoint, said: "The north of England is a hot bed for technology start-ups and SMEs, with hubs in both Manchester and Newcastle growing at a speed that rival those based in Edinburgh and London.

"There is also an opportunity for FarrPoint in the public sector space in the region, with the ongoing city deals and Local Full Fibre Networks programme.

"We have already successfully completed a diverse range of projects in the north of England, working with local authorities and private companies. Our physical presence in Manchester will help us to build on this."
