A new tool introduced by Entanet enables partners to more easily identify connectivity up-sell opportunities.
The Upgradeable Accounts Tool is incorporated into synergi, Entanet's partner interface, and highlights all connections that can be upgraded to newer technologies such as ADSL to ADSL2+ or FTTC. A report can then be downloaded for sales calls and campaigns.
Entanet's Head of Sales, Stephen Barclay, said: "The Upgradeable Accounts Tool is a useful resource that will help partners to maximise their existing customer relationships and identify new business opportunities."
The tool is updated automatically by Entanet twice per month, and was an idea originally suggested by Entanet partners through its Idea Network, which also forms part of synergi. This scheme enables partners to suggest ideas and improvements to Entanet's portals, systems, processes and products etc.
"Since we launched the Idea Network it has already received more than 120 ideas, almost half of which have now been implemented," added Barclay.
"IP telephony and SIP are now widely accepted. The connectivity has become more affordable and businesses are moving key services to the cloud. We see a majority of new RFPs requesting hosted."
