Fidelity Energy's Head of Channel Sean Dixon has pulled in a bumper sum for Special Effect, the UK based charity which uses video games and technology to enhance the quality of life of people with disabilities.
The former England rower ran this year's London Marathon and raised exactly £5,000 for the charity supported by Fidelity Energy, channel colleagues, friends and family.
"The heat on the day was unexpected with record temperatures. I wasn't sure whether to drink the water at each station or throw it over my head!" said Dixon.
"My time wasn't as good as I had hoped so this wasn't the pinnacle of my sporting career, but I overachieved in helping a charity that has a great cause and also is run by the best charity team I have ever met."
Sean is pictured post run with Tom Donegan, Fundraising Events Coordinator for the charity.
