Chess has completed a further two acquisitions snapping up Essex based Cable Telecommunications and the maintenance of Pink Telecom. The acquisitions will add about £2.4 million of annual turnover and in excess of 1,000 customers to Chess.
The recent announcement follows a series of acquisitions by Chess earlier this year, including purchasing Supply Communications, Rely Telecom and Deep Blue Networks.
David Pollock, Chief Executive at Chess, commented: "We're delighted with the acquisition of Pink's maintenance base and Cable Telecommunications as they're a great strategic fit with our business.
"We extend a warm welcome to our new customers and our new people, in particular a new team of telephone system engineers who further strengthen our ability to deliver cost effective telephone systems and maintenance services across the UK."
Richard Btesh, Director at Chess, commented "We've an ever-growing pipeline of potential acquisitions. We're always ready to move quickly and have the cash and experience to support the process."
"IP telephony and SIP are now widely accepted. The connectivity has become more affordable and businesses are moving key services to the cloud. We see a majority of new RFPs requesting hosted."
