Chess bags Frontier Voice & Data and StoneHouse Logic

Chess has added £7.2m revenues and over 2,200 customers with the acquisitions of Frontier Voice & Data and IT systems, services and software provider StoneHouse Logic, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner and a Sage Strategic Business Partner.

Chess founder and Chief Executive David Pollock said: "Technically and culturally, we see these two acquisitions as a great fit."

Frontier MD Peter Southgate added: "Being part of a much larger business brings new opportunities, supplier choice, expertise and skills in a wide range of technology disciplines to our customers and partners."

According to StoneHouse MD Mark Hope the strong business and cultural synergies between StoneHouse and Chess became apparent early in the sale process.

"With a great pedigree and a broader portfolio of products and solutions, Chess is the ideal home for our customers and employees," he said.

Chess has now made 100 acquisitions.
