Chargifi signs up second MSP – DTP Group

Intel-backed wireless charging solution provider Chargifi has signed DTP Group, its second MSP.

Chargifi enables users to wirelessly charge their mobile devices, a functionality that will be offered to DTP's customers as a managed service.

Chargifi has developed software that makes wireless charging transmitters 'smart', enabling DTP to monitor usage and performance, and provide customers with reports and information about their wireless charging spots.

The technology also allows customers to personalise usage which is key in sectors such as retail and hospitality where mobile engagement and location-based technologies are being adopted to enhance the user experience.

DTP founder and MD Howard Hall commented: "Wireless charging is rapidly becoming the standard for laptop and tablet device charging, as well as mobile phones.

"The Chargifi solution fits across a number of sectors we operate in such as universities, hotels and hospitality."

Chargifi CEO and founder Dan Bladen added: "More and more we are seeing consumer demand driving innovation and the need for a wireless world."

Charigifi is installed at some of the world's largest sporting venues, workspaces and hotels.

The market for wireless charging is fast growing and forecast to be worth $37.2bn globally by 2022, according to the 2017 Wireless Charging Market Report.
