Migration Solutions, the data centre and computer room specialist, has launched a new Environmental Report and Audit (ERA) standard tool to provide a 360 degree view of the environmental impact and performance of data centres.
Migration Solutions' Managing Director, Alex Rabbetts, said: "Data centres and computer rooms are extraordinary environments. Compared to equivalent work space, they can consume up to 50 times as much power. Our new ERA tool will enable data centre managers to measure this environmental impact and, crucially, control it."
