The former Channel Director of Hunter MacDonald – which was named the fastest growing IT services company in the UK by the Sunday Times Fast Track 100 – has joined Firstcom Europe as Channel Sales Director.
Chris Walters brings almost 20 years industry experience which includes notable stints in leadership roles at Cable&Wireless, GTS Ebone and Verizon.
“We are at a critical point in our journey and we need renewed leadership to successfully implement our channel strategy," stated Adam Crisp, Firstcom UK co-founder and Group CTO for Firstcom Europe. "We are fortunate to have someone of Chris’ calibre on board.”
Walters added: “We are about to launch new products and services, but to do this effectively we need to focus clearly on our partners, both new and existing, to accelerate their ability to bring innovative products to their customers.”
