Team Nimans limbers up for Manchester half marathon charity run

A charity favoured by former Nimans Chairman Julian Niman, who died in January, is benefiting from continued support from the distributor as 20 staff prepare to run the Manchester half marathon on May 20th with a £4k fund raising target.

Manchester's Brain And Spinal Injury Centre (BASIC) offers services such as virtual reality rehabilitation for those recovering from brain and spinal injuries, as well as their families. BASIC also supports Epilepsy sufferers, a condition which affected Julian.

"This is an unprecedented team effort involving work colleagues, the wider company and also suppliers such as Gamma," said Head of Solutions John McKindland who is one of the many runners.

"BASIC provides a wealth of vital support and we are all aiming to go through the pain barrier to help this worthy cause. We will be running in memory of Julian too."
