Avaya's common stock is to be listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker AVYA on January 16th and is expected to begin trading the following day.
"Our listing on the NYSE is an important milestone in Avaya's next chapter as a public company," said Jim Chirico, President and Chief Executive Officer.
"This will provide increased transparency to our various stakeholders with a goal of creating long-term value for our new stockholders.
Representatives from Avaya will ring the NYSE Opening Bell on January 17th.
